This event began with a simple enquiry from a personal assistant looking to hire a DJ for a private birthday celebration.

There was very little information provided. The only creative brief was straightforward:

"Please prepare a selection of contemporary pop music."

Having worked on numerous private events, we sensed that this would be a unique occasion.

The celebration took place at an elegant hotel restaurant with a private outdoor terrace overlooking Hong Kong's skyline. While setting up our sound system and DJ equipment, we gradually realised we were supporting a gathering hosted by a well-known family within the entertainment industry.

This project originated from one of our regular DJ performances in Central.

Following a live appearance, a guest approached our team to discuss entertainment options for an upcoming birthday celebration. After several conversations, we were engaged to provide a complete DJ-led party experience for a private event at a premium dining venue within IFC.

It was only upon arrival that we fully appreciated the scale and attention to detail invested in the celebration.

We were invited by a production partner to provide technical production services including audio, lighting design, and on-site support for a private celebration hosted at a historic Hong Kong location with restricted public access.

From the moment we were briefed on the venue, we understood the significance of the project.

Set against a beautifully preserved outdoor lawn, the event required a production approach that respected and enhanced the character of the venue without overwhelming it.
